My Journey from Avoidance to Authentic Relationships
In my twenties, life was about chasing approval. I spent years seeking validation through casual relationships, using meaningless encounters as a way to feel confident, valued, and like I was enough. Underneath it all was a fear of rejection and getting it wrong—afraid to commit fully, afraid to choose the wrong partner, afraid to open myself up and truly be seen.

Naturally, I convinced myself the problem was always with the women I met, not me.

Looking back, the pattern is clear: I was avoidant. My relationships reflected this—filled with conflict, drama, emotional distance, and a lack of trust.
